I’m so nervous. I’m about as much of a beginner wedding filmmaker as you can be lol. I vowed to myself this year I would start scheduling weddings again. I have 3 on the books which is awesome for me! At the same time I’m terrified because I don’t have the gear I need, I don’t know what all I need and I just can’t grasp the audio portion of it all 😣. I’m trying to accomplish this documentary style so that that’s what I’m marketed as but I feel overwhelmed.

This year, I knew it was year to step my game up! I ordered two brand new Deity PR2s along with a lens. Both items were scheduled for delivery yesterday and required a signature.
I got the email saying they were delivered, and guess what? No package in sight! To make things worse, someone else signed for my package!
Has anyone else had to deal with something like this?

Which follow modes do you all use?
I've only ever used Pan follow (PF). But just out of curiosity, does anyone have any creative shots outside of PF they'd be willing to share some insight on?

Hey there! Currently in the White Mountains of NH trying to build up my clientele. I just moved from Rhode Island. Any tips on networking in a new location?! I love outdoor, adventerous, and woodsy weddings but also don’t mind the fancy ones here and there. I’ve been taking a more documentative approach and my goal is to integrate more interviews in my videos for 2025. Great to be a part of this!🙂
