The videomic ntg is nice as well. I also own that and it's descent. I think the comica vm40 is better and around the same cost though.

As much as I’d love to keep the party going, the JPM Live Academy will officially come to an end in June. I want to do more educational things on YouTube, mentor/job shadowing, and live streams on twitch. Truly grateful to everyone’s love and support. ❤️

I couldn't find anything about it being timecode supported. Even in the manual. But also, the reason I go with the Tascam is so it can be an on camera recorder once you upgrade shotgun mics. It's small enough to be on your rig :)

Yes. Use those as much as you can or for backups. Start micing the bride and groom with tentacles and investing in time code from tentacle or deity. The DR10Ls can still be used for the officiant and backup scenarios until you can build out the kit more.
