Who has checked out the "How To Sell Reality TV Style Wedding Films" module? What are your thoughts?!
Yaaaaaa let’s gooooo. Monday workshop. Editing and tips working in the brunch scene we filmed March 15th. SAVE THE DATE 😂🔥

This is one wedding for the books. Legit the BEST couple to bring 3 academy members to. Sydney Hsieh Neil Omega Richard Manuofetoa
Just shocked the heck out of me. The hustle and work ethic was just insane. Yall the real mvps of the day. I know it was supposed to be a learning opportunity but I learned that what I’m teaching is working. Best feedback for me was seeing yall run the style like second nature. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have a question. I am building my rig out for my Canon R6 MKII. I am looking for a shotgun mic with onboard recording and 32-bit float (if it has time code that would be great as well). I can't plug it into the camera directly since the TC-1 will be feeding the camera time code.
Any suggestions?
And right after I posted this, Justin's video for the Tascam fr-av2 came up on YouTube.
So, if my brain is processing this correctly, I can use the tc1 to jam sync the Tascam, then plug a shotgun mic into the tascam and I am good regarding the shotgun mic and recording on-the-fly interviews and well wishes. Am I missing anything?
Good evening, all. I'm based in the UK! I've been watching Justin's fantastic content for a while, inspiring me to take the plunge. I will buy a camera, lenses, lighting, mics, and a drone. Based on my research, including on this page and Justin's videos, I've decided on the Lumix S5iix with a Lumix S 24 -105mm lens F4, a 35mm 1.8, Ace 25c/x comic VM40, and probably the deity PR2. I will be solo shooting, to begin with.
I'd happily take any advice on the above.
Finally, if you could have told yourself something before you began, what would that be?
Thank you for reading.
I just want to say thank you to everyone in here who gave me advice going into my first wedding of the year and the first in this reality tv style. The couple absolutely loved it. I think it came out pretty good but watching Justin’s films I know I still have a lot of learning and growing to do 😂 thank y’all again for calming me down a bit and building me up going into it helped a lot. If you have any spare time and would like to watch it and give me some constructive criticism I’d appreciate it!
Hey everyone! 👋
Just wanted to drop in and let you know that we've scheduled a few new live streams!
You can find them in the Content Library → Live Events section. Make sure to check them out, mark your calendars, and join us live!
Looking forward to seeing you there!
I’m using a NAS DS1522+ and looking for the best NAS storage drive. What drives would you recommend for reliability, performance, and recommended storage size? How do you access your video files remotely when you’re away from the office to continue editing on the go?
Thank you in advance!
What’s Your Favorite Focal Length to Film With and Why?
Bonus Points if you guess Justin’s!
So this is my first trailer for my first ever reality tv style wedding film. I think I did a good job with the story telling of it but I am not thrilled about my camera work at all lol. They love it so I guess that’s what really matters. Maybe because I compare it to Justin’s I don’t know. I’m trying to do the best I can with my Panasonic g7 until I can upgrade. So please give me tips and constructive criticism on how to get the most out of my camera please. PS - Ik I didn’t hide mics well. I was panicking because I didn’t have leg straps and I didn’t want to take much of their time so I just threw them on but I will be better about that in my next one for sure. It cuts off the last 11 seconds but you get it 😂
