As much as I’d love to keep the party going, the JPM Live Academy will officially come to an end in June. I want to do more educational things on YouTube, mentor/job shadowing, and live streams on twitch. Truly grateful to everyone’s love and support. ❤️
Yo. So I got something cooking. A sound pack... to create new instrumentals but also add to existing songs.
I'm talking piano, strings, drums, pads, vocals, guitar...
... not all downbeat "cinematic" stuff. We're aiming to get some more upbeat stuff in there too.
I know what I want and need...
... but what do you think you guys would benefit from?
I currently have 2 DR10L Pros. Should I sell them and go for Deity or Tentacle, as I want to start having Timecode? I know you can buy the BT adapters and then the Atamos ultra sync stuff, but would that be more money/hassle?
Is the film review still happening today? Id like to submit my film.

I can shoot Open Gate 6k at 25fps on my camera (S5iix). Would you use this format for weddings, or would it be better in a different format?

Who has checked out the "How To Sell Reality TV Style Wedding Films" module? What are your thoughts?!
I have a question. I am building my rig out for my Canon R6 MKII. I am looking for a shotgun mic with onboard recording and 32-bit float (if it has time code that would be great as well). I can't plug it into the camera directly since the TC-1 will be feeding the camera time code.
Any suggestions?
And right after I posted this, Justin's video for the Tascam fr-av2 came up on YouTube.
So, if my brain is processing this correctly, I can use the tc1 to jam sync the Tascam, then plug a shotgun mic into the tascam and I am good regarding the shotgun mic and recording on-the-fly interviews and well wishes. Am I missing anything?
