I recently had the chance to work with Justin in Texas, and it completely changed my approach to capturing events. The importance of soundbites really clicked. I incorporated that into my latest film, and it’s poppin’ off here in Maine. I couldn’t be more proud. Huge thanks to Justin for showing me the way!
Hiring Freelance Editor (Narrative/Reality TV Style Weddings)
Hey everyone!
We're looking to scale this year and the first order of business is to hire an editor per project. At this moment we just need someone to sort footage and create teaser trailers.
Any questions? Let me know and I'd love to jump on a call or text to give more details.
When they act the part. 😂

How do you all handle the RAW footage question? (Do you give all of the raw footage)
I've had a few couple asking if they'll get the entire footage of everything. (Entire ceremony from walking in to walking out and the entire reception.)
It sounds more like they just want a camera on a tripod in the back that's consistently rolling.
2. How do you all handle that if you do. Because converting a terabyte of BRAW to MP4 sounds like a pain lol especially if you have to sync 16 different microphones to each appropriate clip 😂

This is one wedding for the books. Legit the BEST couple to bring 3 academy members to. Sydney Hsieh Neil Omega Richard Manuofetoa
Just shocked the heck out of me. The hustle and work ethic was just insane. Yall the real mvps of the day. I know it was supposed to be a learning opportunity but I learned that what I’m teaching is working. Best feedback for me was seeing yall run the style like second nature. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Need some advice—doing a video shoot on Saturday. It’s going to be a dining room table with six people talking. There will also be someone in the background cooking food. I don’t have enough lav mics to mic everyone, so I was thinking about using a shotgun mic on a boom arm stand over the table to try and get good audio. Any advice would be helpful. Working on a tight budget since it’s for a non-profit.
What's a good way to share footage with an editor who's remote? Me and Phong are trying to take over the world but we can't do that if Google Drive is going to take 150 hours to upload a terabyte of footage LOL 😂
We're looking to both edit on the same projects using Davinci Resolve's cloud editing capabilities but we just need a way to get that footage from me to him.
Sincerely, please help us do this efficiently lol.

Over the next month or 2 I’ll be revamping the entire academy. My goal is to make it easier to navigate and digest the content. I’ll be reshooting modules as well.
