How do you all handle the RAW footage question? (Do you give all of the raw footage)

  1. I've had a few couple asking if they'll get the entire footage of everything. (Entire ceremony from walking in to walking out and the entire reception.)

It sounds more like they just want a camera on a tripod in the back that's consistently rolling.

2. How do you all handle that if you do. Because converting a terabyte of BRAW to MP4 sounds like a pain lol especially if you have to sync 16 different microphones to each appropriate clip 😂

What's a good way to share footage with an editor who's remote? Me and Phong are trying to take over the world but we can't do that if Google Drive is going to take 150 hours to upload a terabyte of footage LOL 😂

We're looking to both edit on the same projects using Davinci Resolve's cloud editing capabilities but we just need a way to get that footage from me to him.

Sincerely, please help us do this efficiently lol.

Hiring Freelance Editor (Narrative/Reality TV Style Weddings)

Hey everyone!

We're looking to scale this year and the first order of business is to hire an editor per project. At this moment we just need someone to sort footage and create teaser trailers.

Any questions? Let me know and I'd love to jump on a call or text to give more details.

Where Do You All Find Good Editors?

This year is the year where I actually start to build a business out of my filmmaking and the first thing I want to start outsourcing is editing. Does anyone have any experience finding a solid editor who can execute a documentary/Reality TV style vision?

24. I let the story do the heavy lifting on my edits so I don't drift to far into "creative" shots. Only because when I try to get a creative a shot, I miss important moments. I'd need to schedule a day for these shots to feel comfortable doing them on the spot
