So this is my first trailer for my first ever reality tv style wedding film. I think I did a good job with the story telling of it but I am not thrilled about my camera work at all lol. They love it so I guess that’s what really matters. Maybe because I compare it to Justin’s I don’t know. I’m trying to do the best I can with my Panasonic g7 until I can upgrade. So please give me tips and constructive criticism on how to get the most out of my camera please. PS - Ik I didn’t hide mics well. I was panicking because I didn’t have leg straps and I didn’t want to take much of their time so I just threw them on but I will be better about that in my next one for sure. https://youtu.be/jWNe0A4wGeo?si=eBIAHVZ_wCrzKIGP

Yeah I’m literally about to order like 5 of them 😂hey that’s not a bad idea though I might do that if I can get back out that way.

Update on the day: I had my first mishap of the year. I went to set up my drone last and realized my cable to connect the controller to my phone was missing so I figured no big deal I’ll buy one before I get there. Bought the wrong cord 🤦‍♂️ and no store around has it, so no drone shots today. My heart hurts 😂

Drew Webb thank you so much man you calmed me down a bit and I feel like I have a little bit of a plan now lol. One last question, this has me the most nervous. I don’t have any leg straps yet to put on the bride or bridesmaids, so how would I go about putting mics on them? If I put one on the groom and officiant will it be enough to pick up her audio cleanly?

Thank you! I’ll be filming all day including the getting ready process at a different location first. Should I do any interviews then or just wait until reception time? And who should I prioritize for interviews?

It’s late and I hope someone sees this lol. I’m going to film my first wedding of the year and the first one I’ve ever filmed in this documentary style tomorrow. I’m so nervous 😂 I’m going in with my camera, gimbal, drone, and a DIY light diffuser and reflector, and 2 deity pr2s. That being said what’s some last minute tips or advice to go into tomorrow with to feel more comfortable?

Edit: I had a realtor friend message me and said to put together a promotional video that she could send to her realtors and post in a realtor group. The only problem is I haven’t done any home tours to make a promotional video lol what should I do?

Hey yall, I’m looking for ideas for services I can provide to raise funds for better equipment. My main focus is obviously weddings, but what are some small things I could do to make quick cash for equipment upgrades? I posted in a bunch of groups earlier offering to do home walk through videos for realtors but haven’t received any response. Any advice helps!
