I couldn't find anything about it being timecode supported. Even in the manual. But also, the reason I go with the Tascam is so it can be an on camera recorder once you upgrade shotgun mics. It's small enough to be on your rig :)

Yes. Use those as much as you can or for backups. Start micing the bride and groom with tentacles and investing in time code from tentacle or deity. The DR10Ls can still be used for the officiant and backup scenarios until you can build out the kit more.

Allen Johnson find a used rode NTG3. You can find them around $400 which is insane for the value honestly.

Yes sir. I run a Tascam fr-av2 plugged directly into my shotgun mic. From there I run a deity tc-1 into the camera. You can record 32 bit float which makes life so much easier with on camera mics.

Western digital is my favorite. Stay away from anything seagate except the ironwolf drives.
