Matthew Hendry yep. You’ll be able to update timecode from the audio file in Davinci. If you need to see how, I did it in the timecode module.

Just make sure you have the deity TC-1 set to L-out. You should see a crazy long bar that flat lines on one channel and then your mic on the other channel.

Matthew Hendry also the short answer is yes. You can record the left channel your mke600 and right channel can be timecode sound. The only issue is you’ll have to edit in Davinci resolve because Davinci is the only software that can update timecode from audio file. Let me know if that doesn’t make sense and I’ll make a quick video and respond.

Oh nice! First, are you editing in Davinci resolve at all? Travis Seurattan have you used timecode and a shotgun mic before with yours before the Sony cable came out?

Oh yea I know it is hard not to film. It really makes a difference because you can always bring it up later. Let's say during a first look, you can talk about it then. love your idea of doing one free to get an idea of how it should go. It'll be awesome.
