Yes sir. I run a Tascam fr-av2 plugged directly into my shotgun mic. From there I run a deity tc-1 into the camera. You can record 32 bit float which makes life so much easier with on camera mics.

Dude I am so late but bro these sound bites and the audio clairty is so good! Dial in that exposure and framing a little more next time but I LOVE it man. Also feedback on the interviews, they seem super surface level which is ok, next time try and find ways to dig deeper to make the soundbites hit way harder.Lastly, ND Filters. I know you're using th G7, but do you ahve a monitor with false colors?
