This is why I keep extra cables in both of my kits and an extra usb-c and lightning in my car lol had it happen 1 too many times. Go back to the venue and get your shots! No one will really notice unless they had crazy decor outside

If it fits the story I don’t think it’s an issue

Documentary films and reality tv cut to interview pieces in totally different locations and attire all the time and it doesn’t take away from the story

This video is great!!! Shots looks so clear, some a little over exposed, but overall looking solid. For some feedback I would definitely go with hiding the mics a little more. In the academy, Justin has videos going over how to mic people up so that the mics aren't visible and getting solid quality. You did a great job with the mic on mom for the first look but those dang foamy mics are huge lol. The dutch angles and tilting shots got a little much at times. Definitely a creative choice and looks really nice with certain shots. The infamous Ray Roman uses a lot of spinning and tilting shots but you never want to change directions mid clip. LOVE that you started with interviews, should definitely get more of those to cary the story more and I LOVE that you got multiple camera angles and didn't settle with just one angle. Definitely something that can be hard to do as a solo shooter but seeing that was perfect and shows you've got the story telling heart in the right place!

If you already have the npf batteries for the lights, I would just keep the lights going at that if you aren't running into any runtime issues and just upgrade the batteries for your cameras. I switched to V mount and never looked back but still keep all my npf for lights. If in the off chance I forgot to charge my Vmounts, I can always use an npf to power my monitor and the Vmount alone will power my camera for 70-90% of the day on long days

Is anyone available for a wedding in Charlotte NC on 11/2? A little last minute but might be needing a second shooter for this wedding
