Carlos Sierra My bad. I'm not a vidflow user. I still like to share ideas 🥹

I'd place a wireless transmitter mics on the table, assuming the talent would be staying in one place. It looks like the women standing is doing most of the talking, so I would point one towards her.

I know they requested not to use lav mics, but if this were my client I would give her my professional opinion about the disadvantages of not wearing a mic, and make it clear that it's a strong recommendation. Maybe ask what concerns they have with the mics and see if you can offer advice. Position yourself as the professional, because that's what you are. 😇

I won't sugar coat it, filming a wedding in the "doc" style while solo is stressful and often leaves me feeling like I should've bought help. It can certainly be done, but to do it well you need to be on point and efficient. My best advice for you is to plan plan plan. You want to be in the right places at the right time, along with your equipment. Arriving super early helps a whole lot. You don't want to be stressing on time when you are solo.

I totally get it. I’ve invested a lot into creating a nice consultation experience for couples. I’m really up front out pricing. My system automatically sends that info when someone inquires, helping filter out those who aren’t ready to invest in a premium filmmaking. This way, I can focus on clients who are genuinely interested and not just shopping around.

Carlos Sierra So you’re delivering completed videos, just not on vid-flow?

Dylan Dykes We use these, along with their branded charging station. Way better for the environment and much more cost efficient. Any brand will work as you get started. 🔋✅

(don’t put your nice new batteries in a cheap charger)

Dylan Dykes OH, and pick up some rechargeable batteries. I didn’t even bother opening the deity branded ones it came with.
