How do you all handle the RAW footage question? (Do you give all of the raw footage)
I've had a few couple asking if they'll get the entire footage of everything. (Entire ceremony from walking in to walking out and the entire reception.)
It sounds more like they just want a camera on a tripod in the back that's consistently rolling.Β
2. How do you all handle that if you do. Because converting a terabyte of BRAW to MP4 sounds like a pain lol especially if you have to sync 16 different microphones to each appropriate clip π
Need some adviceβdoing a video shoot on Saturday. Itβs going to be a dining room table with six people talking. There will also be someone in the background cooking food. I donβt have enough lav mics to mic everyone, so I was thinking about using a shotgun mic on a boom arm stand over the table to try and get good audio. Any advice would be helpful. Working on a tight budget since itβs for a non-profit.
What's a good way to share footage with an editor who's remote? Me and Phong are trying to take over the world but we can't do that if Google Drive is going to take 150 hours to upload a terabyte of footage LOLΒ π
We're looking to both edit on the same projects using Davinci Resolve's cloud editing capabilities but we just need a way to get that footage from me to him.
Sincerely, please help us do this efficiently lol.Β

Over the next month or 2 Iβll be revamping the entire academy. My goal is to make it easier to navigate and digest the content. Iβll be reshooting modules as well.
Hey everyone,
I'm a filmmaker that works in college athletics, but looking to go full-time freelance this summer. I'm excited, but a bit nervous of the unexpected! What do you all think is the best way to find clients that fit your niche, as well as, how far out in advance should I be booking clients in order to stay consistently busy?
I've attached a link to a special day & story that I worked on this summer, feel free to rip it apart! Any kind of advice is of help, thank you all -- happy to have found this space, & looking forward to being part of this community.
I wanted to share a wedding interview sample clip I recently worked on, and I think this group would appreciate the content. I love talking shop, so if you have any questions or want to chat about workflow, gear, or your own process, feel free to reach out. Iβm always excited to hear whatβs working for others too.

Just wanted to share another interview snippet here. Same setup as the previous one. Anyone else willing to share their work/clips? I love seeing different setups and learning what works for others too.
